Add a maintainer skill that release PICs can run to verify Harbor → NeMo Fabric → harness → inference → result across the adapter catalog using one shared Terminal-Bench task.
The skill guides model and credential setup, prepares isolated installations, runs bounded trials, and produces a report that separates integration correctness from task quality and harness limitations.
I confirm this contribution is my own work, or I have the right to submit it under this project's license.
I searched existing issues and open pull requests, and this does not duplicate existing work.
Details
Interactive setup: choose a shared BYOM endpoint, individual provider credentials, or a mix. Reuse existing choices and saved plans, check credential presence without exposing values, and preview runnable and skipped adapters before execution.
Reproducible execution: pin one task and retain its instruction/environment/verifier hash. Preserve upstream assets and resource limits, build noneditable Fabric packages, and verify installed runtime, harness, catalog, descriptor, and admission identities.
Adapter compatibility: support per-row provider/model settings, bounded turns, compatible task Python interpreters, and registered workflow targets. Kiro requires its native provider, an advertised model, and KIRO_API_KEY; skip it when credentials are absent. Kiro BYOM is unsupported.
Bounded operation: serialize trials by default, enforce deadlines, retain failed and partial evidence, scrub credentials, and clean up only resources owned by the run. No automatic model retries or full-dataset execution.
Reviewable reporting: retain every catalog row, including blocked, unsupported, and excluded entries. Emit machine-readable and human-readable reports with separate integration, task reward, usage, capability, and cleanup results.
An integration pass requires successful invocation, selection/provenance checks, unchanged result/accounting transport, completed verifier evidence, and cleanup. Task reward zero and unavailable complete harness usage are informational; unknown counters remain unknown. Failed invocations, invalid verifier evidence, transport or provenance drift, requested telemetry failures, timeout/cancellation, and cleanup failures remain nonpasses. Missing prerequisites and subset runs cannot establish a full-catalog pass.
The qualification-specific changes are confined to the skill, its scripts/assets/tests, and maintainer/example entry points. This branch is stacked on the product fixes in #522. Registered NOOA workflow qualification additionally requires #533. Fabric remains 0.6.0 on release/0.6; the qualification changes introduce no product APIs, dependency changes, or release/tag policy.
Validation
Consolidated coverage: 17 integration passes, 0 integration failures, 1 prerequisite-blocked adapter (Kiro), across all 18 catalog entries. This combines retained catalog evidence with scoped follow-ups; it is not a fresh full-catalog run at the current head. Kiro prevents full_catalog_passed=true.

“Reported” refers to normalized SDK accounting, not exhaustive provider billing or known cache/cost dimensions. Seven adapters retain incomplete usage; accounting reaches Harbor unchanged. Seven attempted rows earned reward 1 and ten earned reward 0.
Live environment: B200, native Harbor 0.24.1.dev202610250408 through its Fabric SDK bridge, and the existing NIM service serving nvidia/nemotron-3-ultra-550b-a55b. The shared task is TB2 kv-store-grpc, with its original verifier and 1 CPU / 2 GiB limits.
Deterministic validation:107 qualification tests and 206 combined focused tests pass. Skill validation, Markdown links, Ruff/diff checks, package/catalog validation, and docs checks pass. Independent interactive forward-tests cover shared BYOM, individual keys with Kiro skipped, and saved-plan reuse.
Coverage limits: Remote Agent validates its declared HTTP contract, not autonomous remote workspace/tool execution. Droid validates native BYOK with a dummy key, not Factory authentication. Hermes uses its supported pinned source install with Python 3.14 while Fabric remains noneditable. Mini-SWE's explicit unpriced-model policy is bounded by max_turns=100. MCP, skills, Relay/ATIF, and subagent paths require separate live evidence. Published-registry candidate qualification has not been exercised.
Where should the reviewer start?
Start with SKILL.md, then references/setup.md and references/runbook.md for the operator workflow. Review scripts/qualify.py, scripts/prepare.py, scripts/identity.py, and tests/scripts/test_harbor_qualification.py for execution, provenance, reporting, and cleanup invariants.
Related Issues: (use one of the action keywords Closes / Fixes / Resolves / Relates to)
Relates to #522: parent adapter/bridge fixes; merge before this stacked PR.
Relates to #533: registered workflow bridge support required for the NOOA route.
Relates to FABRIC-387: unsupported Kiro BYOM; native credentials required.
It looks like this branch is under active development. To avoid overwhelming you with review comments due to an influx of new commits, CodeRabbit has automatically paused this review. You can configure this behavior by changing the reviews.auto_review.auto_pause_after_reviewed_commits setting.
Adds a Harbor qualification workflow that plans a catalog-wide adapter matrix, prepares isolated environments, runs bounded Terminal-Bench trials, and records qualification evidence. Release and tag guidance now requires exact-candidate evidence or a documented waiver.

Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title uses the type "test:" but the change is primarily a new maintainer skill with scripts, runbook, Dockerfile, CI-adjacent release gating, and documentation changes; the test file is only one part. The prefix "test" is allowed and the title is under 72 characters, lowercase, imperative, and without a trailing period. It is partially aligned: it names the skill and the single-task scope, but understates the release-gating and workflow changes and the new harness scripts. The title remains related to the main change, so it passes.

stubbing the clean-tree and catalog-check subprocess calls for ordinary and

the real Git check, and exclude it from the stub.

Validate the adapter image identity before running the trial.
environment.json stores only the adapter image tag. The run resolves that tag again and checks package metadata, catalog identity, and runtime wheel hashes, but it does not compare the resolved image with a preparation-time image ID or verify ancestry from task_base_image_id. A retagged image with matching metadata can therefore pass the trial and produce a qualification report for an environment different from the prepared environment.
Record the prepared adapter image identity and validate its digest and ancestry from the prepared task base at this boundary. This is the required correction for this finding.

Early host-failure path overwrites unsupported and blocked outcomes in the release report.
In run(), the host-installation early return sets every report row's reason to the host-installation message, and leaves each outcome as "blocked". For nvidia.fabric.nooa (action="unsupported"), the report then shows blocked with a host-installation reason. The unsupported classification and the BenchAgent guidance are lost. The same overwrite also replaces the prerequisite reasons for the blocked rows, such as the Kiro credential requirement. The release gate still fails these rows, so no false pass results.
The branch can run when environment.get("python") is missing or is not a file. Map each report row to its plan row and keep the planned action and reason for non-run rows:

Overview
Add a maintainer skill that release PICs can run to verify Harbor → NeMo Fabric → harness → inference → result across the adapter catalog using one shared Terminal-Bench task.
The skill guides model and credential setup, prepares isolated installations, runs bounded trials, and produces a report that separates integration correctness from task quality and harness limitations.
Details
KIRO_API_KEY; skip it when credentials are absent. Kiro BYOM is unsupported. An integration pass requires successful invocation, selection/provenance checks, unchanged result/accounting transport, completed verifier evidence, and cleanup. Task reward zero and unavailable complete harness usage are informational; unknown counters remain unknown. Failed invocations, invalid verifier evidence, transport or provenance drift, requested telemetry failures, timeout/cancellation, and cleanup failures remain nonpasses. Missing prerequisites and subset runs cannot establish a full-catalog pass.
The qualification-specific changes are confined to the skill, its scripts/assets/tests, and maintainer/example entry points. This branch is stacked on the product fixes in #522. Registered NOOA workflow qualification additionally requires #533. Fabric remains 0.6.0 on
release/0.6; the qualification changes introduce no product APIs, dependency changes, or release/tag policy.Validation
