Spin Recovery
A spin is a form of stall. If the plane yaws either left or right upon stalling then it may enter a spin. Your plane will corkscrew uncontrolled toward the ground in a circular pattern. This can be used evasively, however if a spin occurs or is initiated at low altitudes recovery becomes less unlikely. It is inadvisable to perform a spin under 1,000 meters altitude.
- Drop Throttle
- Apply opposing rudder to the spin direction
- Point nose down toward the ground
- Watch/Feel the plane come back under control, careful there is a window of time this occurs if you miss it you may just end up reversing your spin
- Slowly increase throttle and pull out of the dive, don't throttle up too hard you may over-rev the engine which would mean total engine failure.
