- Line 21: Update the sentence describing how the sandbox name is derived to use
“NeMo Fabric” instead of standalone “Fabric,” preserving the existing
explanation about the environment ID and stable name.

- Line 615: Update prepare_environment to look up the legacy
nemo-fabric-{environment_id} sandbox only when settings.sandbox_name is omitted,
and use it as sandbox when its environment-id label matches; create a sandbox
only when no matching legacy sandbox exists. Track whether preparation created
the sandbox and guard both cleanup_created_sandbox calls so readiness failures
never delete a reused sandbox; preserve the existing readiness and
connection-binding flow.

58-58: Use “NeMo Fabric” for the product name.Line 58 uses standalone “Fabric” to refer to the product. Replace it with “NeMo Fabric”; Line 8 already introduces “NVIDIA NeMo Fabric.” This repeats the product-name issue flagged in the prior README review.

Overview
Omitting
settings.sandbox_namecurrently generates a name longer than OpenShell 0.1.2's 19-byte gateway limit, so sandbox creation fails withINVALID_ARGUMENT. Generate a stable 19-character name from the Fabric environment ID while retaining the full ID in the sandbox label for reconciliation. Explicit names are unchanged. This is a small follow-up to #395. It now incorporates the merged #396 and #398 changes from
main; the PR diff remains limited to the sandbox-name fix. Thesha2crate is used for a deterministic 64-bit name suffix; it is already inCargo.lock, so this adds no resolved package or new license. A noncryptographic hash would give weaker collision behavior for the same size.Details
