fix: normalize OpenCode requests and prepare patch releases - #113
OpenCode free-tier requests now replace Pi's working-directory block with the gateway's environment block rather than sending both, and preserve tool-free requests without adding a synthetic read tool. The conversion leaves the original messages unchanged for other providers.
This also prepares patch releases for OpenCode Free, Sentry skills, web fetch, and web search, including simplified skill guidance and clearer model-facing web tool descriptions. The release guide is renamed and repository references are updated.
Request tests cover structured prompts, existing environment blocks, and tool-free compaction. Publishing remains a separate step after merge.
Free-tier requests require the environment block, and adding it next to
Pi's own <cwd> block sent two working-directory statements. Convert the
cwd block in place so only the gateway block remains, and keep the
original messages untouched for other providers and mid-session model
switches.

Walkthrough
The PR updates free-tier request normalization, repository and skill guidance, web tool descriptions, and package metadata. It also removes Node.js engine declarations and root package-manager pins.
Normalization preserves absent and empty tool lists. It converts working-directory blocks in instruction messages to environment blocks and supports string and structured content. Tests cover these cases, and package metadata records version 0.3.2.
The skill updates section headings and repository-path writing guidance. Release metadata records version 0.1.5.
Web Tool Descriptions

Summary
Update web tool descriptions and releases packages/pi-web-fetch/src/index.ts, packages/pi-web-fetch/README.md, packages/pi-web-fetch/CHANGELOG.md, packages/pi-web-fetch/package.json, packages/pi-web-search/src/index.ts, packages/pi-web-search/CHANGELOG.md, packages/pi-web-search/package.json
The web-fetch description covers content from public URLs. The web-search description no longer directs users to web-fetch. Package documentation and release metadata record the changes.
The root package removes its Node.js engine requirement and pnpm version declarations. Node.js engine declarations are removed from extension packages. Development guidance and repository tests reflect the updated runtime metadata.
Fix the multi-directory normalization edge case and update the stale architecture guidance before merging.

packages/pi-opencode-free/src/request.ts:179-209 Minor · Data Integrity & Integration · Quick win
Convert every <cwd> block in the selected instruction message.
When no instruction message contains an existing environment block, convertCwdBlock replaces only the first <cwd> block. The normalized request can therefore send OpenCode both an <env> block and a remaining Pi <cwd> block. This violates the package contract to replace Pi’s block instead of sending both. Keep the existing-environment path unchanged.

Remove the synthetic read statement from docs/architecture.md:73.
The head code no longer adds a read declaration when a request has no tools. Line 73 still says it does, so the document describes behavior the code no longer has. A maintainer who relies on this document can reintroduce the removed behavior.
Suggested fix
-The request contract prefixes a minimal working-directory env block unless an instruction already contains one, adds a minimal `read` declaration only when the caller declares no tools, and forces streaming, while keeping Pi's own system prompt and tools.+The request contract prefixes a minimal working-directory env block unless an instruction already contains one, and forces streaming, while keeping Pi's own system prompt and tools. Requests without tools pass through without a synthetic `read` declaration.
Do not change the at-least-one-tool row at line 68 or the 429 claims in line 73 in this change. The only recorded gateway measurement is dated 2026-10-28. The tool-free decision in the 0.3.2 changelog is dated 2026-10-30. Re-measure the gateway before updating those statements.
