Don't merge this before the feature is released! (MQ=approved but WAIT for feature release!)

For the next minor release; in the milestone, "merge queue" = approved for merging on release day.

This should be addressed in another repo (e.g. config ref docs, a bug in Astro etc.)

Best solved by creating a short how-to/example

Need to figure out whether this is something to add to documentation or not
