What changed

  • One length cap, everywhere: title ≤70 / description ≤160 in the page-doc template, T5/T6 references, the C11 checklist row and docs, the example config, the example report and the checker (scripts/config.py, scripts/run.py). The SEO board's onsite check already uses 70/160; template and checker now hold the same number.
  • T3 gains two optional fields in the page-doc template: canonical (only when the page's search credit belongs to another page, C8) and noindex (only for pages that must stay out of search, C23). The content checklist's T3 row names them and links C8 · C23.
  • T10 names both dates in the content checklist (date_published set once, date_modified kept in step); the template and T10 reference already had both.

Testing

scripts/run.py and scripts/config.py parse; only constants and strings changed. I didn't run the checker end to end because this machine has no requests installed.

Risk

Sites already under 60/150 aren't affected. Titles between 61 and 70 characters, and descriptions between 151 and 160, were red before and now pass.
