Conversation
public/install.sh installs @profullstack/qryptchat (qc) with bun if present, else npm on Node >= 22, falling back to ~/.local when the global npm prefix is not writable. The homepage hero shows the one-liner with a copy button. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

curl -fsSL https://qrypt.chat/install.sh | sh(it 404'd before).public/install.sh: installs@profullstack/qryptchat(qc) via bun if present, else npm (requires Node >= 22); if the global npm prefix isn't writable, installs to~/.localinstead of needing sudo, and prints a PATH hint when needed. shellcheck clean.Tested: ran the script in a throwaway HOME with a read-only npm prefix → installed to
~/.local/bin,qc --version→qc 0.6.4.next buildcompiles (page-data step needs Supabase env, unavailable locally).🤖 Generated with Claude Code
