…(0.44.2) - Server-fetched https://pit.world/snippets/footer.html?site=nichedb.dev, cached an hour in a module-level cache (stale on error, 3s timeout, nothing on failure), rendered as the last thing in <body>. - Site footer: one line (copyright, About, API, CLI, MCP, Premium, Status, Code, time-zone note). Drops the @profullstack/footer bar with its 12-link dump and webring; the ring now comes from the global footer. - The ad slot moves from just above the footer to the top of the content. …drop the pit.world footer (0.48.0) (#221) - /ips/owners: who owns an IP. Shared networks we never list (crawlers, CDNs, resolvers, Apple's /8) plus the hosting and seedbox providers listed on r4ck.dev and ch4nnels.com that run their own network: 96 of 256, 66.5k ranges, each with its ASNs and directory links. /ips/owners/<slug> and /api/v1/ips/owners[/<slug>] print every range. /traffic/owners 301s here. - A provider owns a range when it holds the AS announcing it: PeeringDB networks whose home page is the provider's domain, or the AS serving its website when the holder is named for it; prefixes from RIPEstat. `bun scripts/refresh-provider-ranges.js [--only a.com,b.net]` refreshes. - Providers are named but never kept off: a rented server is one actor. isSharedIp and the review use sharedOwnerOf; an address page in a provider names it and still shows the RDAP abuse contact. - Range lookup is indexed by prefix length (one map hit per length) instead of scanning every range. - nichedb.dev is an ICANN domain, not a Moshpit name: remove the pit.world global footer #213 added. The @profullstack/footer webring row stays. - 0.48.0 also releases #216 (weed) and #217 (footer bar), merged unreleased. Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Adds the pit.world global footer (module-level cache refreshed hourly, 3s timeout, served stale on error, renders nothing if never fetched) as the last thing in , and trims the site footer to one line: copyright, About, API, CLI, MCP, Premium, Status, Code, plus the time-zone note. The @profullstack/footer bar (12 marginal links + webring) is dropped; the ring is in the global footer. The CrawlProof ad slot moves from directly above the footer to the top of the content (standing rule: no ads against footers).
Checked: biome, full bun test (2492 pass; the one failure was the /crawlstatus footer link, now kept as Status).
