   Opened a PR covering this: openedx/openedx-platform#39273

   It's a draft since it's stacked on top of #39255 (openedx-authz#486's PR), which hasn't merged yet. The PR description has the full detail: which view maps to which permission, why no new legacy-check code was needed (the defaults already registered in legacy.py already matched each view's existing permission_name), and the test coverage. I'll mark it ready for review once #39255 lands.

   Update: moved this to eduNEXT/edx-platform#327, targeting bav/instructor-authz-shared-infra directly so the diff only shows this issue's changes (closed #39273, which was against upstream master and showed #39255's diff too). I'll open the PR against openedx/openedx-platform:master once #39255 merges.
