Fix/4447 linting supressed

• closes nf-core pipelines lint silently suppresses all module linting on error. #4447 when meta.yml missing, by removing the surfacing of errors early that would supress linting messages.
• Fixes small related linting bug when writing a "failed" status (See slack: https://nfcore.slack.com/archives/CE5LG7WMB/p1787111740348099)
• Renaming a variable.
