Version 2 of QGDipoles.m. This version contains:
- Layered QG modons with a background shear flow (with both baroclinic and barotropic radii terms),
- SQG modons on the top and bottom surfaces (with surface deformation and slope geometry),
- 3DQG modons from QGDipoles3D.m,
- Keyword based functions and efficiency improvements from QGDipoles.jl.
This repository contains all functions required to create modon solutions. Example scripts are included, depicting solutions shown in various publications.
This code (or earlier versions) has been used to produce modon solutions in the following publications. Publications marked with a * describe the mathematical theory underlying the numerical method.
