Our goal is to have a unified way to listen for deeplink requests across all operating systems. To have that work, we need to disable the bindings that the electron-deeplink package makes on MacOS (darwin), since Electron now handles those natively and it breaks our dev build.
Remove the electronDeepLink const and anything referencing it.
Try requiring this new file as Deeplink in our app's backend main.js...this may just work. If it doesn't, I'm guessing we'll want to vendorize the entirety of electron-deeplink
Eventually the maintainer of electron-deeplink will be implementing something similar, so in the future we may be able to use the stock electron-deeplink package.
