Frenset is a USDC-core social payments and reputation network built on Arc.
This repository is currently at Phase 1: repository and foundation setup. Product flows, provider SDKs, contracts, and deployments are intentionally not implemented yet.
- Node.js 24+

- Foundry (for the contract workspace in a later phase)
- PostgreSQL (required when the data layer is introduced)

The default network is Arc Testnet. Testnet configuration is isolated from future mainnet configuration and uses Test USDC only.
- X provider user ID, not the mutable username, is the identity anchor.
- Wallets are user-controlled; backend services do not hold a global signing credential.
- USDC is the payment rail. FSET is a later coordination asset and is not part of MVP Core.
- Points, Reputation, Season Reward Score, and Risk remain separate systems.
- Public payment sharing is opt-in and does not imply blockchain privacy.
