🌍 Wikimedia Contributor & Mentor — shipping patches to MediaWiki core & extensions
🏆 3x Winner, National-Level Hackathons
💡 I like turning complex problems into elegant, scalable solutions.
Always learning. Always building. Always shipping.
I contribute production code to MediaWiki core and extensions (PageForms, PageTriage) — infrastructure that powers Wikipedia for billions of monthly users — and I mentor new contributors through their first Gerrit review.
- 🛠️ Built Clip2Commons at the Indic Wikimedia Hackathon 2026 — a tool that makes own-work uploads to Wikimedia Commons more accurate (3 merged MRs: author-override support, accessibility, upload usability)
- 🎓 Road to Wiki Mentor (United University) & Dev Circle peer mentor, Cohort 2 (Open Knowledge Initiatives, IIIT Hyderabad) — recognized with a formal recommendation letter
- ✅ Trusted Tester, WikiClub Tech India · contributor, Punjabi Wikimedians
- ☕ Co-founder, Chai with Wiki — a community initiative making open-source contribution less intimidating for beginners
- 🖼️ Active contributor on Wikimedia Commons — captioning and provenance work
- 📄 Full patch history: Gerrit changes by owner
Also fixed a reproducibility bug in CNCF's KubeEdge project (Ianvs benchmarking toolkit) — same instinct, different ecosystem.
