Summary

• Drop implicit / situation-qualified preference handling from the Zep Memory skill
• Save only standing durable facts (preferences, feedback framed as ongoing guidance, etc.); treat one-off draft edits as task instructions, not memory
• Align the skill description with that safer write policy and bump to 0.2.10

Test plan

• Confirm python3 scripts/plugin_manifests.py --check reports 0.2.10 across all three manifests
• Confirm claude plugin validate plugins/zep-memory/.claude-plugin/plugin.json --strict and claude plugin validate . --strict pass
• Smoke-test: standing preference ("Always greet with Howdy") triggers save via add_memory
• Smoke-test: one-off draft edit ("replace hey with hi") does not trigger a memory write
• Smoke-test: recalling prior context still loads get_user_summary / search_graph as expected
