XMem Helper

Provides a bridge between the 32-bit mszip.dll (XMem Compression) and the 64-bit Windows operating system for a software program called Reflex Package Tool.

Compiling

1. Install the Visual Studio Developer Tools.
2. Open the utility called x86 Native Tools Command Prompt for VS and run the following commands in the folder containing the source files:

cl /O2 /Fe:xmem_helper.exe xmem_helper.c

cl /O2 /Fe:xmem_compress_helper.exe xmem_compress_helper.c

Usage

• XMem Helper:

xmem_helper.exe mszip.dll compressed.bin uncompressed_output.bin expected_size

• XMem Compress Helper:

xmem_compress_helper.exe mszip.dll uncompressed.bin compressed_output.bin max_output_size
