Hi,
The team behind Material for MkDocs recently announced their new tool: Zensical.
According to their announcement, Material for MkDocs will enter "maintenance mode" within the next 12 months, and they encourage users to migrate to Zensical during this period.
I have been experimenting with our docs, to see how far we are from being able to migrate it all, and it works primarily, except that we are now missing Jupyter support.
From what Zensical people say, they are working on "module system", which should allow third parties to enhance the core functionality of Zensical. As of November 2025, I think they are not there, and working on other fronts (e.g. feature parity with MkDocs, bug fixes).
I'm raising this here mostly for visibility, and in case there is something that can be worked out.
