Radegast Metaverse Client (http://radegast.life/)
Radegast is a virtual world client compatible with Second Life and OpenSimulator. Its main purpose is to provide an alternative client to Linden Lab derived virtual world viewers. There is a strong focus on accessability and non-3D interaction.
This repository builds two clients:
- Radegast (aka "Legacy") - the original WinForms client, Windows-only.
- RadegastVeles (aka "Veles") - a cross-platform Avalonia-based rewrite, for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Radegast (Legacy) requires .NET Framework 4.8 or compatible Mono version to build and run.
RadegastVeles (Veles) requires the .NET 10 runtime and builds/runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
The macOS build of Veles is ad-hoc signed (no Apple Developer ID certificate, no notarization), since a signing certificate isn't currently available for this project. macOS will still show a "cannot verify the developer" / "unidentified developer" warning on first launch. To run the app: right-click (or Control-click) the app in Finder and choose Open, then confirm in the dialog that appears. You only need to do this once per download.
