Hi @romani ,
I’d be interested in taking this issue up. I can work on upgrading Checkstyle to 14.1.0, verify the compatibility of the existing configuration and Sevntu integration, run the full test/build suite, and address any compatibility issues that arise from the upgrade.

If nobody is currently working on this, would you be able to assign the issue to me? I’d be happy to investigate and submit a PR.
