Simple haskell application to convert ascii stl files to ldraw .dat files.
Linux 64 bit binary available. Other platforms must compile from source.
$ git clone https://github.com/NatureShade/STL2LDRAW
$ cd STL2LDRAW
$ cabal install
$ STL2LDRAW filename.stl
