I'm working on an ADO Air 30 Ultra and trying to unlock the 25 km/h speed cap. Here's what I'm working with:
Motor: Bafang H730 Hub motor (GVT gear system)
Controller: CR S20R.250.FC
Display: ADO DBO4N-C (CAN-based, I believe)
As far as I know this setup uses CAN bus. I've already tried accessing settings through the ADO display and there's no speed unlock option available. I also purchased a USB to HiGo cable (green circular connector) but no luck accessing settings through the usual Bafang config tools — presumably because of CAN.
I’m just trying to unlock the speed cap (not increase power) for off-road testing in a YouTube project. Is there any way to do this via software, engineering menu, or flashing the controller? If it requires additional hardware or a more advanced toolchain, that’s fine — I’d just like to know what’s possible.
