Adds EmpirioLabs AI as a provider through its OpenAI-compatible endpoint. aisuite/providers/empiriolabs_provider.py and its tests follow the Crusoe provider (#351) line for line, with the name, the base URL (https://api.empiriolabs.ai/v1) and the key variable (EMPIRIOLABS_API_KEY) changed. The README's Chat Completions provider list now includes EmpirioLabs AI, as it does Requesty (#346).

EmpirioLabs AI is specialized AI model hosting for open, proprietary, and custom stacks. We run open-source models on GPU infrastructure we manage, serve optimized endpoints for proprietary models, and help teams deploy their own models to real users.

Testing:

  • pytest tests/providers/test_empiriolabs_provider.py: 2 passed (mock-based, the same two cases as the Crusoe tests: a chat completion and tool calling).
  • black --check passes on the new files with 24.4.2 (the pre-commit pin).
  • Live through the aisuite client with a real key:
import aisuite as ai
client = ai.Client()

response = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="empiriolabs:qwen3-8-flash",
    messages=[
        {"role": "system", "content": "You are a helpful assistant."},
        {"role": "user", "content": "What is the capital of France? Answer in one word."},
    ],
)
print(response.choices[0].message.content)  # Paris
