Harness retains Go 1.26 as its consumer compatibility floor, but its preferred toolchain remains on Go 1.27.0 while Hyrum, Scrutineer, and Scrutineer's Go execution surfaces use Go 1.27.1. Mend detects the patch update, but the repository's seven-day release-age policy has not yet produced an automated pull request.

This advances only the preferred toolchain to go1.27.1. The go 1.26 compatibility directive, module dependencies, Renovate policy, manual merge behavior, and Mend update view remain unchanged.

Go 1.27.1 is the current stable release. The module tidy check, vet, the full race-enabled test suite, and diff checks pass under that toolchain.

Codex was used to implement this.
