Local Development

This is a static website that doesn't require any build process. To run it locally:

Option 1: Using Azure Static Web Apps CLI (Recommended)

# Install SWA CLI globally
npm install -g @azure/static-web-apps-cli

# Start local development server
swa start . --port 4280

Then open http://localhost:4280 in your browser. This option provides the most accurate local development environment that matches the Azure Static Web Apps production behavior, including routing rules and configuration from staticwebapp.config.json.

Option 2: Using Python

# Python 3
python -m http.server 8000

# Python 2
python -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000

Then open http://localhost:8000 in your browser.

Option 3: Using Node.js

# Install http-server globally
npm install -g http-server

# Run the server
http-server -p 8000

Option 4: Using VS Code Live Server

If you're using VS Code, install the "Live Server" extension and right-click on index.html to select "Open with Live Server".

Option 5: Direct File Opening

Simply open index.html in your web browser. Note that some features might not work properly due to CORS restrictions.

Deployment

The website is deployed to Azure Static Web Apps. Deployment happens automatically through GitHub Actions.

Automatic Deployment

Deployments are triggered automatically when:

  1. Manual trigger: Use the "Run workflow" button in GitHub Actions
  2. Version tags: Push a tag starting with 'v' (e.g., v1.0.0, v2.1.3)

Creating a New Release

To deploy a new version:

# Create a new tag
git tag v1.0.0

# Push the tag to GitHub
git push origin v1.0.0

The GitHub Action will automatically:

  1. Build the static website
  2. Deploy to Azure Static Web Apps
  3. Make it available at the production URL

Manual Deployment

You can also trigger a deployment manually:

  1. Go to the Actions tab in GitHub
  2. Select "Deploy Agentri Website"
  3. Click "Run workflow"
  4. Select the branch and click "Run workflow"

Environment Setup

Required Secrets

The following GitHub secrets must be configured for deployment:

  • AGENTRI_STATIC_WEB_APP_DEPLOYMENT_TOKEN_PROD: Azure Static Web Apps deployment token

Azure Static Web Apps Configuration

The deployment uses the following configuration:

  • App location: / (root directory)
  • API location: Not configured (static site only)
  • Output location: Not configured (no build process)
  • Production branch: main
