Add memory-curator subagent (meta-orchestration): long-term memory discipline across sessions - #314
Merged
Conversation
Long-term memory discipline for agents working across sessions: what to save, recall-before-acting, corrections that close facts instead of erasing them, outcome notes, batch pruning. Storage-agnostic (any memory MCP server or a files-based store). Updates both READMEs, bumps voltagent-meta to 1.0.5 and syncs marketplace.json per CONTRIBUTING.

Ping now that this has an approving review. It is still mergeable against main, and the subagent it adds sits in the meta-orchestration group alongside the existing ones. Happy to rebase or split it if that makes the merge easier. |

What
A new subagent for
09-meta-orchestration: memory-curator — the discipline layer for agents that work across many sessions. It decides what is worth saving, recalls relevant context before acting, records corrections by closing facts instead of erasing them, notes outcomes on recalled entries, and prunes in reviewable batches. It complements the existing agents in the category rather than overlapping them:
context-managerorganizes the files a workflow shares within a project's working context; memory-curator governs long-term memory across sessions — save/recall discipline, contradiction handling, honest correction history.Vendor neutrality
The agent is storage-agnostic: it works with whatever memory MCP server a project has connected, or falls back to a documented files-based layout under
.claude/memory/with no server at all. Three memory servers are mentioned once as examples (the reference@modelcontextprotocol/server-memory, Mem0's OpenMemory,@mnemoverse/mcp-memory-server). Disclosure: I work on the last of those; the agent does not require it, prefer it, or link to it, and the discipline it encodes is published under CC0 and applies to any store, files included.Checklist per CONTRIBUTING
