Hey there, I'm the author of https://prolink.tools!
For a long time I had a full 2000nxs setup, but since moving to New York I had to side-grade to a RX3. I hadn't been as involved in the scene recently, but seeing all the activity going on with hardware/firmware hacking in the CDJ space has got me excited!
I was talking to my LLM about this a bit today, and I was thinking about putting together a module that would hook into track metadata and mixing lifecycle events and report them over some custom HID USB protocol, then we would have a little client app on the mac/linux/windows side that reads those messages and connects up with whatever live-track-overlay solution.
I was thinking about even taking this one-step further on the RX3 and seeing about a small custom rasberry pi compute module host board with a USB-A. You plug it in, it loads the autoexec.bin or whatever, connects to wifi, and "wifi-enables" your RX3 (whatever that might mean, rekordbox export mode, now playing stuff, etc).
just a thought, seems like it would be pretty slick :)
Thank you for putting this together, super super cool!
