PactVerity is a public evidence-verification project for APIs, AI agents and measurable digital services. The repository contains the operational Proof Engine v1, Receipt API beta, portable receipt schema, reference SDK previews and reproducible AI-agent evidence benchmark.
Working and publicly inspectable:
- deterministic receipt creation and verification;
- tamper detection and receipt hash commitments;
- optional Solana-format Ed25519 signature verification;
- public health, market-status and receipt-activity endpoints;
- JavaScript and Python reference clients;
- three known-answer benchmark scenarios.
Not claimed as deployed or verified:
- custody, escrow, settlement or collateral programs;
- independently observed service measurements;
- completed independent security audit;
- verified third-party integrations, customers or revenue;
- guaranteed token liquidity, execution, price or value.
Requirements: Node.js 24 or later and pnpm.
pnpm install
pnpm testThe test suite builds the deployable application and exercises receipt construction, tamper detection, request boundaries, rendering, token invariants and public API behaviour.
node benchmark/run.mjs
node benchmark/run.mjs --execute
node benchmark/run.mjs --execute --jsonThe default command is a non-networked inventory. --execute submits three labelled test receipts to the configured Receipt API. The JSON mode records runtime details, source hashes, check results and receipt digests for public review.
See benchmark/README.md for disclosure and submission requirements.

Read CONTRIBUTING.md before proposing an integration or benchmark result. Security reports follow SECURITY.md. Public benchmark reproduction and integration proposals should use the repository issue templates.
PactVerity evaluates explicitly supplied evidence against explicit rules. A valid receipt proves how the supplied inputs were processed and whether the receipt remains intact. It does not prove that an observation was collected independently or that an underlying real-world claim is true.
