👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! This pull request introduces pre-serialized static responses and updates the send_json method to handle both raw data and bytes. Feedback suggests adding a Content-Length header to support persistent connections and moving serialization before sending headers to improve error handling.

The send_json method is missing the Content-Length header. In a performance-oriented server, providing Content-Length is crucial as it allows clients to use HTTP persistent connections (Keep-Alive), which significantly increases throughput by avoiding the overhead of establishing a new connection for every request.
Additionally, serializing the JSON after calling end_headers() (line 117) is problematic for error handling. If json.dumps fails (e.g., due to a non-serializable object), the server will have already sent a 200 OK status and headers, resulting in a malformed response. It is recommended to serialize the data first, determine its length to set the Content-Length header, and then call end_headers().

Code Review
This pull request introduces pre-serialized static responses and updates the send_json method to handle byte-encoded data, reducing serialization overhead for common endpoints. The review feedback highlights an opportunity to further improve the send_json method by including a Content-Length header, which is necessary for supporting persistent HTTP connections (Keep-Alive).

While the optimization to bypass serialization for bytes is beneficial, the send_json method still lacks a Content-Length header. Without this header, the server cannot support persistent HTTP connections (Keep-Alive) effectively, as the client cannot determine the end of the response body without closing the connection. Since this PR focuses on performance and production-readiness, adding this header is highly recommended. You can achieve this by ensuring the data is serialized into bytes before sending the headers.

💡 What:
json.dumps()insend_jsonto useseparators=(',', ':')instead ofindent=2./) into a module-level pre-serialized byte string (STATIC_ROOT_RESPONSE).send_jsonto natively accept and writebytesobjects, bypassing serialization entirely for static data.🎯 Why:
The previous implementation used
indent=2, which inflated the JSON size and consumed extra CPU cycles for formatting. For production APIs, compact JSON is preferable. Further, the root endpoint returned a static dictionary on every request, wasting resources on redundant dictionary allocations andjson.dumpsencoding. By pre-serializing this data, we eliminate the serialization overhead entirely.📊 Measured Improvement:
