Fixes CLIENT-1SJ. The issue was that: WideCharStringToMultiByte failed to check for a NULL source pointer before calling wcstombs, causing an Access Violation Read (0x0) in ucrtbase.dll.

  • Added a null check for the input parameter orig in WideCharStringToMultiByte.
  • If orig is NULL, the function now safely returns an empty string, preventing potential crashes when processing null pointers.

This fix was generated by Seer in Sentry, triggered automatically. 👁️ Run ID: 8201218
