@Steve-Mcl Yes, we had it bundle all the dev dependencies.

Given the number of major version bumps, these will need to be broken out.

We can discuss if this is useful or not in the next dev team meeting.

I'm surprised ws is a dev dependency, but it's in that section of the package.json file...

@ppawlowski @hardillb what if we add update-types (here and set it to - "minor"? - so that major bumps are excluded from this group?

@Steve-Mcl the goal of introducing development dependencies grouping was to decrease the number of PRs. Same for ignoring patch bumps. Excluding major versions from this will again create a bunch of new PRs, which is the opposite we aimed for.
As Ben mentioned, let's discuss the proposed config changes within the team first.
