Builds PlatformIO tool packages by downloading release binaries and wrapping
each one, per system type, with a generated package.json.
Currently updates:
tool-wlinkfrom our own fork, Community-PIO-CH32V/wlink, pinned to the tag inWLINK_TAG. The fork is used rather than ch32-rs/wlink because upstream cannot program the CH32H4 family.tool-wchispfrom nightly builds (commented out inmain()).
Run it with python packageupdater.py from this directory. It prints a
pio pkg publish command per generated tarball; nothing is published on its
own.
Runs on any host now. It used to be Linux-only, because Windows has no
executable bit and the chmod +x step left wlink unrunnable on Linux and
macOS. Permissions are written into the finished archive instead, by
normalize_tarball(), so the packages come out identical wherever they are
built.
Bumping to a newer fork release is one line: change WLINK_TAG. The package
version is <major>.<minor> from the template plus today's datecode, so each
run produces a version newer than the last.
