Hello,

Is there a plan to add a resource that would allow the download token to be set and the components to be downloaded (VCSA, NSX, VCFA, VCFOps ...)

That can be a game changer for me as CSP :D

Hey @Hugo1380 the VCF Installer will be supported in 0.17.0 but it will not feature any depot configuration or component download capabilities

LCM is not on the near future roadmap, at least for now.

My main concern is that to support LCM we would have to implement "one-off" resources that you create only once to trigger a certain operation in the update chain - for example to download a specific bundle.

As a user, how do you imagine using LCM via terraform?

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing.

I am talking about the first part, before the bring-up process. In the VCF installer, you must provide a token for the online depot or an HTTP server for the offline one. Then, you select which binaries to download in order to deploy the management domain.

My question is about this part, before deploying the management cluster. The depot configuration and the downloads binaries part.

I work for a cloud provider, and we plan to deploy a lot of management domains. We have to automate all of these processes, and we are considering using Terraform for that purpose.

You could try using the Terracurl provider to address this by using the APIs.
