Weird Nixie tricks

Hello Pool Controllers,

When the Solar Temp port on my EasyTouch died I decided that I would prefer to replace that with something that allows me lower cost replacement parts and a better user experience (linking to my ISY for example). Here is what I built...

I've run into two oddities:

1. Sometimes when Solar should be activated it does not. It isn't clear why that it. If I stop the body (big green button to turn off), then restart (turning now grey button back to green), then solar immediately kicks in as it should. What is the best way to troubleshoot this? Are there any logs that might point me to where things are going awry?
2. If I go into Timeout mode, when it comes back the body does not restart (remains grey button). I can start t by hand, and that works. This is more of an annoyance than anything else, but I thought it would be worthwhile in case it relates to the first issue.

I am running the latest release code for PoolControl and REM (9.1.0)

1. Attach a replay capture when the issue happens and I'll take a look.
2. Updated API calls will be included with 10.0.0 to resume schedules. The default behavior mimics the OCP but can now be overridden.

I am concerned that it can take hours to get into the state. I'll try to run it a few minutes before solar should kick on and I'll see how that goes.

Here is a replay from yesterday. It showed the time when it should have transitioned to solar and didn't. I even stopped the body and restarted it -- which has worked every time in the past -- and it did not transition. I suspect the capture reload may have been a factor there. In order to get solar running again I had to restart the entire poolController app.

Updated. That also required me to update nodejs to 22. After a bit of effort got it all running. However, the result was the same.

Should I do another capture?

Here is a clue. Solar works every other day. I can try a capture tomorrow, but I suspect the restart will disrupt things.

Starting the packet logging doesn't require a restart unless you check the box to capture the configuration reload. Start the capture and let it run.
