Help building/setting up nixie

I want to build a system for my pool. My equipment is a gulfstream Heat pump, a Hayward tri start VSP pump, Denwillis pool timer, and one jandy valve. I have read I need a Raspberry P4, Relay hat with universal inputs, and a temperature sensor. So I guess what else might be needed? I would like to build it in an enclosure, then would need help programming it. Hopefully this is the right place to post? If not, maybe the mods could move it? Thanks

You should start by going through both wikis:

We don't have direct support for any Gulfstream heat pump. I took a quick look at the manual but it's very sparse on what type of remote control is available, if any.

Well it uses a wifi control to an app. I was thinking of just using a temp sensor and the fireman's switch on the heatpump.
