0.11.0 - Tau 0.9 & Theme Extensibility

Steno 0.11 ships Tau 0.9, makes themes easier to extend and customize, and closes out the custom configuration migration.

Highlights

• Tau 0.9: comments, local {#let} bindings, {:else} branches for {#each}, component children, whitespace control, and async function/filter calls
• mergeTheme for extending a bundled theme, plus compiled scripts/*.ts support for directory-based themes
• Content-hashed CSS/JS filenames by default, redeploys no longer need a manual CDN cache purge
• theme, shortUrls, devPort, globals, and pluginSourcePolicy promoted out of custom to top-level config, with doctor warning on the old nesting
• Dev server now reloads on every config file change, no restart required
• Concurrent page rendering and theme asset writes for faster builds
• Steno.ready() for observing initialization failures directly
• Expanded plugin and configuration documentation

Upgrade

Update the core package to ^0.11.0. Tau 0.9 is purely additive over 0.8, no template changes required. custom.theme, custom.shortUrls, custom.devPort, custom.globals, and custom.pluginSourcePolicy still work but are deprecated, move them to the top level; run steno doctor to find any that need moving. Updated official plugins and themes will be published separately.
