Yup - looking at the error message it's to do with the updated protobuf package. In the 2026.10.0 changelog, it says they've updated to the latest v6 issue of protobuf in preparation to upgrading to v7. See https://www.home-assistant.io/changelogs/core-2026.10/ and ctrl+f for protobuf. I don't know if it's just as simple as a hardcoded dependency in the integration for a specific protobuf package version, or if there's a legitimate incompatibility - I suspect the former though. For the time being I've downgraded back to 2026.9.4 and all is working again. Hopefully someone pushes a fix here soon, and ideally one that is workable for the inevitable protobuf v7 update too. |

Thanks for the confirmation.
I noticed a ‘fix’ for it being posted this morning but that didn’t work. I’ve also rolled back for the time being.
Cheers,
Ian
