I completed all the required information for the GitHub Education application, but when I submit the form, I get an error related to Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). How can I fix this issue? |

This usually happens when 2FA is required but hasn’t been completely enabled on your GitHub account. Go to Settings → Security and check your 2FA status. Make sure 2FA is fully enabled and verified. If prompted, enter the verification code from your authenticator app or use a recovery code. Log out and sign in again, then try submitting the application. If the problem still occurs, wait a few minutes and try again. If nothing works, contact GitHub Support and include a screenshot of the error. |
