How to disable auto update check?

How do I disable auto update check? There isn't an option in the settings UI.

I guess point Jan to https://github.com/janhq/jan/tree/main/src-tauri/src/core/updater somehow and ask it about it, somehow.

This can be turned off now: go to Settings, then General, and toggle off "Automatic Update Check" (described as "Automatically check for updates on startup and periodically"). If you built or installed a variant where the updater is disabled entirely, the toggle will not appear because there is nothing to check.
