GoFr-SOC: Template Track – Catalog Service

Hello GoFr Team,
I will be working on Catalogue Service to improve visibility and discovery in microservice ecosystem. It will feature auto-registration, OpenAPI/GraphQL introspection, ownership tracking, and a searchable dashboard built using GoFr.

📅 Week 1 plan

• Setup: Initialize the Gofr project structure.
• Model: Define the data structures for Service.
• Store Layer: Implement the database schema and basic CRUD operations for services.
• Service Layer: Implement the business logic for manual service registration.
• Handler Layer: Create the API endpoints for manual registration.

I can include both owner and apiSpecUrl fields during service registration. If needed, I can also fetch and parse the API specification from the provided URL. Searchable dashboard can be built using Go template engine .
