Development Workflow

1. Edit Source Files: Modify files in src/
2. Nodemon Watches: Changes trigger automatic rebuild
3. TypeScript Compiles: src/ → dist/
4. Server Restarts: Automatically with nodemon
5. Test Changes: Run tests with npm test
6. Lint & Format: npm run lint:fix and npm run format

Production Build Process

1. TypeScript Compilation: npm run build
   • Compiles src/**/*.ts → dist/**/*.js
2. Dependency Installation: Production only
3. Environment Setup: Set production environment variables
4. Server Start: npm start runs dist/index.js

Testing Structure

• Test Files: Located in tests/ directory
