Automation/ansible support?

Is it possible to add a tool that can schedule commands (snippets) to run based on intervals or at set times on one or many machines? It could use the existing snippets tool but just add a schedule for auto updates/backups.

The app could maybe also record error messages and notify the user if it was successful or had an error. But that's not required if WebSSH is not setup for notifications.

I haven't used ansible much personally so I'm ansure about its full feature set, I'm also unsure how the tool should handle when the host device is offline.

Are we talking about WebSSH under macOS?

On iOS it won't be possible as we have a budget of 30 seconds in background.

On macOS it could also be hard as we need to prevent device to sleep and sometimes we can't wake up it

Honestly I think your better installing ansible on the Mac and using cron to run your jobs for this use case.
