Bug: Resume button disappears too quickly

Reproduction steps

0. Play a Youtube video that you have previously partially watched.

Actual result

The "Resume at xxx" button shows for a few seconds, is easy to miss, and if you miss it, your chance is lost forever - you have to seek the resume position manually.

Expected result

The button should stay on forever with an X button to hide it manually.
Ideally, a config option to always auto-resume from the last watched position.

+1 Also it instantly writes to your watch history so you cant even quickly close the video and try again from your history...

This is incredibly annoying also I think its functionally related to when the video itself starts playing. Please just put this on a user configurable timer.
