Feature Suggestion: Selection Tool, Cycle Through Selection Modes Quickly
#1725
A feature where the user can cycle through the different cycle modes by pressing the tool shortcut (ctrl+5 as of writing) would be appreciated.
Currently, if the user wants to change modes (especially after finding the current mode not being best suited for their operation) the user has to move their cursor and manually select the mode to use on the side of the screen.
However, if the user could, once the selection tool is selected and active, if pressing the shortcut key AGAIN (ctrl+5) it would cycle to the next selection mode, (if selection mode is on mode 4, next cycle would go back to mode 1).
I made a video for my friend, who has more free time and 'vibe codes', to have them try make a modification for me, however they are unable to.
So, incase my explanation is unclear, maybe the video would be more clear.
Furthermore and a bit off topic, but I think the overall feature to cycle through different tool modes within a tool, with use of the shortcut key, would be appreciated. (For the shapes tool, since the list is so long, maybe have a custom dialog list where you can 'shortlist' selected shapes to be part of the 'cycle list')
