Repo drop down has entries that do not show up in solution explorer when selected

The drop down box at the top of the solution explorer lists more repositories than seem to be available. Selecting any repository from the drop down, that does not already appear when "All Repos" is selected, only shows "dotnet/dotnet" in the tree view of the explorer with nothing beneath it.

For example, selecting dotnet/arcade from this list:

Only yields this result:

As said above, this seems to happen for all repos that are not already "visible" when "All Repos" is selected.

Actually, clicking around and switching between "All Repos" and "dotnet/arcade" (I have no particular interest in this repo, it is just the first on the list that exhibits the behavior). Does sort of show it:

So the "data" might be there, just switching to it from the drop down might be somehow a problem?

I think this is expected. Many repos are indexed from the monorepo (dotnet/dotnet). So you see the dotnet/dotnet repo as their parent in the Solution Explorer. The dropdown lists those repos individually though (otherwise it wouldn't be very useful).

Thank you for the response. Yes, what you describe sounds logical.

However, currently I observe this behavior (after some more tests):

• (Clear browser cache, etc.)
• Select a repo from the drop down -> result: empty "dotnet/dotnet" node
• Select "All repos" (again) from the drop down -> result: full tree view
• Select the specific repo again -> result: "dotnet/dotnet -> specific repo" (as expected) in the tree view

That back-and-forth is surely manageable, but I though I'd let you know.
