Bootable modifies block devices and treats safety defects as security defects.
The latest published release receives fixes. Because Bootable performs destructive block-device operations, keep backups and do not use it unattended.
Do not open a public issue for a vulnerability that could select the wrong disk, bypass target confirmation, execute an untrusted helper, or accept an unverified download. Use GitHub's private security advisory flow for this repository and include the platform, Bootable version, target device metadata with serial numbers redacted, and reproduction steps.
Never attach disk images or logs containing secrets.
