Game takes too long to create the song cache

I installed the last Alpha (build 043) from the website and I'm creating the song cache.

For a song with just 23 songs it took almost a minute. and that's because I restarted the cache generation (and deleting the Cache folder). With the next folder, with 24 songs, it took more than 2 minutes

The cache creation wasn't that slow before..
It's because it's saved to a database file now?

Yes, initial cache is slower now since its per-calculating lots of things. 2 minutes for 20 songs seems excessive though. There are some improvements in the beta version which reduced load times by up to 40%, so hopefully that will help you out. The second load should be extremely fast, I do about 30k songs in 12 seconds.
