The filter box in the "File loading" dialog window is very helpful for searching directories with a lot of contents. I'd like to suggest one small modification: after the current directory has changed (i.e., after the user has double-clicked a sub-directory name or used the "up" button to go back to the parent directory), can we clear the filter box so that all contents of the new directory can be listed?
FWIW, here is the reason for the suggestion: on my Mac, I typically go to "Downloads" then search for a folder named "viz" using the filter box. After entering "viz/", because the filter is still active, I get an empty list with the words "No data available", which often surprises me at first and then makes me realize I need to manually clear the filter box.
Thanks in advance for your help!
