Gracefully degrade to local storage when server is down

when i open the website it doesn't show my game or anything and when i click X to exit out the stuff and it doesn't go away.

Thank you for the ping! The server fell down, it is back up now.

Leaving this issue up because a) I should have gotten an e-mail when you reported this issue, and b) there is no in-client way to report that the server fell down.

I manually resolved an outage of 12+ hours on the morning of July 9th. I'm going to patch the server's auto-restart to try and work around this while the cause of the automerge-server crash remains unknown.

Fallback path to local storage (so that a dead server doesn't block your access) remains WIP.

Had another weekend outage, back up now. Working on the server configuration.
