Default compose.yml location on creation?

Hi.
Might of missed it, but is there a way to change the default location when creating a new compose file?

All my existing compose files where adopted from another volume that I wish was the default one when creating a new compose file.

For locally managed stacks, there doesn't appear to be a separate default-path setting in the UI. Dockhand stores newly created stack files under DATA_DIR/stacks, which is /app/data/stacks by default.

You can make your preferred host directory the default by bind-mounting it there:

services:
  dockhand:
    volumes:
      - /path/to/your/stacks:/app/data/stacks

After recreating the Dockhand container, newly created local stacks should be stored in that mounted directory. Existing adopted stacks can keep their current linked paths.

If this is a remote environment managed through Hawser, configure its STACKS_DIR instead, because that path belongs to the remote host.
