file structure to find artist art?

my albums have art with a simple .jpg in the directory (gonic), but where does amperfy find the art for "Artists"?

If I'm not mistaken Amperfy takes whatever artwork your server provides for an artist. That means, it is specific to the ampache / subsonic server and not the job of Amperfy. Try to look at the documentation of whatever server you are using and see if they support the feature.

I also have an issue here. According to navidrome you can add an artist.jpg to the artist folder. This worked correctly in the navidrome interface however after resyncing my library and deleting and redownloading all artwork this is still not using the correct artwork somehow.
Not really sure if this is an issue on Navidrome or how Amperfy handles it though

Navidrome also has method to add album art by by clicking on the artist photo and uploading but Amperfy does not seem to pick those up either
